15. High Net Worth Individual / Sophisticated Investor Confirmation

To be able to receive information from O-Hx regarding investment,you need to meet the following criteria of a High Net Worth Individual or Sophisticated Investor as defined by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

High Net Worth Individual

You need to to qualify as a High Net Worth Individual because at least one of the following applies to me:

  • With an annual income of £100,000 or more.
  • Or hold net assets to the value of £250,000 or more (excluding my primary residence, insurance rights, or pension benefits).

Sophisticated Investor

To qualify as a sophisticated investor, one of the following needs to apply to you.

  • Be a member of a network or syndicate of business angels and have been for at least six months prior to this date.
  • To have made more than one investment in an unlisted company in the two years prior to this date.
  • To be working, or have worked in the two years prior to this date, in a professional capacity in the private equity sector or in the provision of finance for small and medium enterprises.
  • Currently, or have been in the two years prior to this date, a director of a company with an annual turnover of at least £1 million.
